BAOC Score event - North Pentlands, 26 October 2011
This event was part of the Military League North, organised by BAOC with assistance from ESOC – the planner was Euan Mackenzie and the controller was Crawford Lindsay. 35 controls were scattered through Covenanters’ Wood, across the lower slopes of the North Pentlands and up onto Capelaw and Allermuir Hills, giving plenty of choice for an hour of orienteering, plus some wonderful views.

Robert Findlay (M60) – 43rd
Rona Lindsay (W18) – 72nd (note: Rona was treating it as a training run, and went to all the controls in 1hr 38 mins, though some had been taken in by the time she got there!)
